Job Overview

The United Heritage Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Branch Operations Manager to lead by positive example. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will support branch management in supervising your team, being knowledgeable about solutions, acting decisively to resolve issues, and working hard to ensure service levels are consistently high.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, motivate and train our frontline staff to provide exceptional member service.
  • Provide support to platform staff as needed in a supervisory capacity and be able to perform all platform and frontline related duties while providing coverage as deemed necessary.
  • Receive and process all teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, money orders, cashier's checks, etc.
  • Schedule and monitor the daily activities of the branch and assist the manager in overseeing the daily operations of the branch.
  • Create and promote a positive first impression for our members to help establish strong member relationships.
  • Ensure staff is well trained and up to date on all credit union policies and procedures.
  • Address member complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years in banking operations or a similar environment.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures, including account reconciliation and balancing.
  • College degree in management or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
