Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Albuquerque Public Schools. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and district goals.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid New Mexico Teacher's Level II or Level III license.
  • Five or more years of experience teaching students in K-12.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of effective classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with students with varying abilities and needs.
