Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of complex aerostructures, including nacelle systems and specialized structural components of the airframe. We supply and support these products for engine makers, airplane manufacturers, and aircraft operators.

Job Summary

Maintain an effective Inventory Management System in collaboration with the operations and Cycle Count Teams through transactions in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Administer and participate in auditing activities to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recount previous counts, audit, and review inventory processes to identify missing inventory.
  • Responsible for inventory adjustments in the ERP System and communicate with affected parties.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze root cause, identify potential resolution, and escalate to manager for any reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Distribute Daily cycle counts and variation reconciliation.
  • Analyze and validate inventory adjustments.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Train inventory associates on functions performed.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls to verify inventory integrity of accounting systems, processes, and data.
  • Perform work safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Adhere to Cycle Count procedures.
  • Assist with warehouse projects.
  • Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
  • Work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and replenish materials.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Management to communicate process opportunities and take corrective actions or remedies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required. Associates degree or above from an accredited University or College is preferred.
  • Candidate must have a minimum 2 years of warehouse inventory control, preferably in the aerospace industry and/or inventory reconciliation, and 3+ years' experience using an ERP System (SAP preferred).
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel skills will be utilized, and intense analytical skills are required.
  • Experience in time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic Math Skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Products.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management is very helpful.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to intermittently lift, push, and/or pull up to 30 lbs.
