Job Summary

The IT Operations Analyst II will be responsible for data entry, scanning/imaging, and Mainframe related production printing. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in utilizing various office equipment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry
    • Accurately input and update data into computer systems and databases.
    • Enter and verify data from source documents using a data entry keypunch system.
    • Verify and correct data discrepancies by reviewing and comparing data with source documents.
    • Perform additional clerical tasks as needed to support team operations.
    • Assist personnel from the Computer Operations Mainframe team in monitoring and executing commands relating to assigned Mainframe tasks.
  • Document Imaging
    • Scan/image documents according to established procedures and guidelines.
    • Sort, organize, and prepare documents for scanning.
    • Review scanned images for accuracy and completeness.
    • Identify and correct scanning errors, such as misalignment or missing pages.
  • Production Printing
    • Execute printing tasks from the Mainframe and related software systems that include report and check printing.
    • Monitor and maintain production print equipment specific to Mainframe & related system printing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve minor printer issues and/or malfunctions. Work with service provider to resolve ASAP.
    • Coordinate preventative maintenance schedule and act as point-person on service-related issues with production printers.
    • Maintain PAR levels of copy/print paper stock, production print supplies, and related consumables.
Requirements
  • Must be able to interpret and follow detailed/specific instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal departments on issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and digital files.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Present a customer-oriented image of professionalism and service satisfaction while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Work Schedule
  • Weekdays (Monday - Friday).
  • Occasional weekends (according to print cycle schedule).
  • Flexibility to stay late to complete assigned tasks (on occasion).
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of related job function knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management systems.
  • Experience in print production equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing Occasional 1-3 Hours.
  • Sitting Frequent 3-5 Hours.
  • Walking Occasional 1-3 Hours.
Other Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing data entry tasks.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating scanning equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move stacks of documents.
  • Adequate vision to perform scanning and data entry tasks accurately.

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services' total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
