Restaurant Operations Supervisor

This position is for a managerial role within a dining establishment operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee is authorized to use McDonald's branding and menu items in their business operations. However, they function independently from McDonald's USA and act as an autonomous employer. If selected for this role, you will be employed by the franchisee, who is solely responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, supervision, staffing, and employee scheduling. McDonald's USA does not influence any employment decisions at this location and will not be involved in the hiring process or any subsequent employment determinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Managers are responsible for overseeing shifts to ensure that customers receive quick, accurate, and friendly service during their visits. They guide team members and fellow managers throughout shifts to maintain exceptional quality, service, and cleanliness for guests. Daily responsibilities include planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald's standards, overseeing safety and security, managing profitability, and collaborating with the next Shift Manager to ensure a smooth transition for upcoming shifts. Shift Managers may also be tasked with achieving shift goals, completing necessary documentation, and assisting designated departments in meeting their objectives.

In the role of Shift Manager, your responsibilities may include:

Previous leadership experience, particularly in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries, is preferred. We are looking for enthusiastic team players with flexible schedules who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial position.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to adapt to the restaurant's scheduling demands
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach
  • Physical strength to lift, push, pull, and carry items, occasionally up to 40 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds
  • Capability to perform tasks involving repetitive movements
  • Hearing acuity to distinguish between various sounds
