Electronics Assembler Job Description

Bruker is seeking skilled electronics assemblers to join our team. As an electronics assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of high-performance scientific instruments and analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble rack-mounted electronics with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assemble cables and cable harnesses with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assemble and rework printed circuit boards (PCBs) with surface mount devices (SMDs).
  • Assist production engineers with installation, repair, and testing of electronic components.
  • Create documentation for new assembly procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient production.
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong soldering skills and ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings and process specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and ask for guidance when necessary.
  • Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional experience with electronics assembly to IPC/IEC/ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuit theory.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Bruker offers a competitive salary range of $53,434 to $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive and a range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, and paid time off.
