Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Specialist to join our team at Express Employment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing equipment repairs and routine maintenance of CO2 laser systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on CO2 laser systems
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluate available information
  • Disassemble electro-mechanical and optical assemblies
  • Measure and adjust calibration and performance of electronic and software-controlled subsystems
  • Reassemble components and assemblies ensuring proper form, fit, and function
  • Examine unique or unusual wear, assembly defects, or failure trends and report to management
  • Accurately record all service-related data, including parts used
  • Utilize laser tube repair records for equipment history
  • Conduct final tests on repaired equipment to ensure compliance with OEM specifications
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of manufacturer's operator and service manuals
  • Work closely with others to meet demanding due dates
  • Understand and comply with relevant quality and regulatory procedures
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Electronics or similar degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within a repair depot, field service, biomedical, or manufacturing related operation, preferably working with electronic or electro-mechanical equipment
  • Experience with lasers is a significant plus in this position but is not required
  • Experience using standard test and measurement equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes preferred
  • Experience with soldering is a plus
  • Ability to test, service, troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
