Job Title: Executive Director, Wealth Planning

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director, Wealth Planning to join our team at First Western. As a key member of our Wealth Planning team, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to achieve revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, and advisory product penetration targets.
  • Design and deliver wealth planning products, oversee daily operations, and manage processes and systems related to wealth plans.
  • Lead and develop a team of professionals, guiding them on business growth, implementing strategies to maximize effectiveness, and helping develop and evolve product and service offerings.
  • Consult on and complete high-profile and complex planning engagements, including expertise with CHB succession.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching, and growth of the PTIM sales and service teams and the Insurance team in complex planning concepts.
  • Oversee daily operations of the WP process, including review of wealth plans, reporting of outcomes, adherence to service levels, annual reviews, and process enhancements.
  • Help drive resolution of issues and solve complex client problems.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to maximize cross-selling and ensure relationship managers apply best practices in business development and prospect conversion.
  • Develop strategies to enhance client engagement and new prospecting channels, supporting business development activities by partnering with relationship managers during prospect and client meetings.
  • Assist teams in developing the Bank's network of external partners to better serve clients and increase referrals from external parties.
  • Optimize talent management to keep PTIM talent up to date and resilient in the face of changing markets, business needs, associate absences, and associate succession.
Requirements:
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with FIS/Verafin preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal communications, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and team mentoring abilities.
  • Comfortable and professional in dealing with senior management and the Board of Directors.
Education and Experience:

Master's Degree in a relevant field, with JD, LLM degrees, and/or CPA, CFP certificate required. 10-15 years of wealth management industry experience, with 5-7 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Pay Range: $204,000-$347,000/YR. Actual offer will be based on experience, location, education, and/or skills.
