Key Responsibilities:

The Special Projects Manager will collaborate with teams across Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Marketing, and IT to drive project success in both Florida and Michigan. Ideal candidates will possess a background in construction management and experience in the car wash sector.

The role involves direct reporting to the Head of Construction and entails working closely with the Project Team to ensure that all phases of site acquisitions are completed efficiently. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing projects related to site acquisitions and operational enhancements.
  • Assessing site conditions and equipment requirements to create actionable checklists and deliverables.
  • Identifying operational needs to define project scopes and prioritize tasks across the portfolio.
  • Conducting post-completion evaluations of newly developed sites to verify compliance with operational standards.
  • Tracking progress through detailed project plans, establishing timelines, and assigning responsibilities.
  • Ensuring that all team members, both internal and external, fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Coordinating construction activities, equipment upgrades, and branding initiatives with various vendors to meet project objectives.
  • Communicating project statuses and tasks with cross-functional teams, including Real Estate, Marketing, IT, and Operations.
  • Adjusting project priorities based on upcoming acquisitions and urgent needs for existing sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Prior experience in the car wash industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with project management software, particularly Procore and Bluebeam, is a plus.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management tools, with a preference for Smartsheet.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
