Position Summary:

The Sales Associate is instrumental in assisting Management to cultivate a customer-focused and product-oriented sales atmosphere. This role emphasizes adherence to our core values and guiding principles in all store activities, ensuring a remarkable customer journey while optimizing profitability.

Core Responsibilities:
Results Orientation
  • Meet company sales objectives by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product insights with customers.
  • Stay updated on current promotions and maintain pricing and visual standards.
  • Follow guidelines in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other assigned tasks from Management.
  • Engage in visual merchandising activities such as monthly store setups and area maintenance.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Demonstrate and advocate for high-quality customer service standards, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Facilitate a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining informed about payment policies, coupon applications, returns, and security measures.
  • Influence purchasing decisions at the point of sale and achieve add-on sales targets, including gift card promotions.
  • Enroll customers in loyalty programs.
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe recommendations.
  • Possess a solid understanding of current product fit and style offerings both in-store and online.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers through the customer database.
Operational Support
  • Assist in restocking efforts to ensure the store remains well-supplied.
  • Support order fulfillment processes.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising initiatives such as floor changes, window displays, and signage placement as directed.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store.
Collaboration and Development
  • Encourage a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving.
  • Pursue personal growth opportunities and actively seek feedback.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to company technology.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet company goals. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Continuous walking/standing for a significant portion of an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs during an 8-hour shift.
  • Frequent climbing, approximately 34%-66% of an 8-hour shift.
