Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Ace Hardware. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and productive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including DIY projects, electrical, plumbing, tools, paint, and hardware.
  • Merchandising: Ensure that the store is well-merchandised, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment, processing new shipments, and participating in visual merchandising efforts.
  • Operations: Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management, including maintaining awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.
  • Skills: Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of DIY projects, electrical, plumbing, tools, paint, and hardware is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $16.50 to $17.00 depending on experience.
