Job Summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating refuse cranes to maintain proper refuse flow to operating boilers and control pit management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain refuse crane systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Lubricate, inspect, and clean refuse crane equipment to prevent wear and tear
  • Operate crane smoothly to prevent excessive grapple swings and reduce wear on electrical and mechanical parts
  • Mix refuse before feeding to boilers to ensure proper combustion and minimize arches
  • Maintain the crane control room and surrounding area in a clean and organized condition
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management through verbal and written communication
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
Work Environment

As a Crane Operator, you will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and walk on uneven surfaces
  • Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and move about the plant
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
