At S&D Coffee Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our processing team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting our processing personnel with materials to complete the process or Receiving, Dumping, Roasting, and Grinding.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with processing and support personnel to plan their upcoming material needs for the day.
- Operate Strong-arm, Mobe-crane, and Vac-lift assist frequently throughout the shift.
- Cut green coffee bags for green pit dumping.
- Assist with sacking off coffee in Green and Roasting areas as required.
- Perform master sanitation tasks as required.
- Assist with rework reintroduction as required.
- Understand movement forms, bag markings, and utilization of contract numbers.
- Understand blend sheets, sequence numbering, and contracts for traceability.
- Accurately complete all required quality checks and paperwork.
- Perform additional duties directed from the Supervisor.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
