Stone Fabricator

We're seeking a skilled Stone Fabricator to join our 2nd shift team at Rumford Stone Inc. As a key member of our fabrication team, you'll work with high-quality stone products to create stunning countertops that exceed customer expectations.

• Operate the overhead crane to move stone with precision and efficiency.
• Cut and polish stone to achieve exceptional quality and finish.
• Ensure a smooth workflow by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Read and interpret drawings and work orders to initiate projects.
• Load and unload machines and worktables, utilizing cranes or manual handling.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Adjust tools and equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety.
• Transport finished products to the next station for further processing.
• Participate in additional tasks, such as cleaning, loading trucks, and maintaining a tidy shop.
• Assist with repairs and loading/unloading installer frames.

• High school diploma or equivalent life experience.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with stone or carpentry skills are a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Professional appearance and reliability, with a willingness to work overtime or Saturdays during peak periods.
• Manufacturing or precision work experience is beneficial, but not required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly and pass a pre-employment medical exam.
