Your Role

SRG Global is actively seeking a Plant IT - OT (Operational Technology) Administrator. In this role, you will enhance value by delivering local assistance for the designated site’s process and operational technology framework. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of infrastructure and networking technologies, particularly within the manufacturing sector. Our Team

This role will report to the OT Operations Support Manager and will be based at our facility. The position requires minimal travel as dictated by business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various IT and production teams to implement and sustain secure and highly available production and process solutions in the following domains:
    • Business and Process network and security infrastructure
    • Uphold the company’s Principle Based Management (PBM) culture
    • Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies
    • Provide support for local servers and utility workstations
    • Manage process computing, storage, backup, and disaster recovery infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain operational printers within the plant
  • Proactively diagnose and resolve OT network or system issues
  • Oversee and support antivirus software on plant workstations, laptops, and servers
  • Administer software patching for plant workstations, laptops, and servers
  • Manage onsite IT service providers and vendors
  • Offer local support for Global OTS Project Teams
  • Maintain onsite IT inventory and stock
  • Collaborate with plant management on local projects and approvals
  • Embrace change and challenge existing practices to identify improvement opportunities that create value for the organization and its customers
Qualifications

Candidates should possess at least one of the following:
  • Experience managing a network of servers, desktop systems, and communication devices
  • Familiarity with manufacturing infrastructure and networking technologies
  • Experience in troubleshooting computer/technology issues (professional, academic, or personal experience is applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven knowledge of current network communication devices and protocols, as well as server and desktop technologies
  • Experience with infrastructure and networking technologies in a manufacturing context.
