PD Fabric Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of PD Fabric Coordinator at James Perse Los Angeles.

• Ensure the quality of our fabrics meets our high standards from product initiation through production.
• Support Design, Product Development, and Production teams for all fabric-related queries.
• Collaborate with mills on daily communications to ensure timely and accurate fabric delivery.
• Maintain sample yardage inventory and order sample yardage as needed to support product development.
• Place bulk fabric purchases and coordinate payment and shipping with vendors to ensure seamless logistics.
• Review and approve bulk fabric cuttings to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Send bulk fabric references to vendors to facilitate communication and quality control.
• Prepare bulk fabric swatches for master fabric files to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Monitor fabric production and follow through until bulk fabric has been shipped to vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Send and track fabric testing as required to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate fabric inspection for European fabrics and maintain detailed records on inspection results to ensure quality control.
• Work with garment vendors and communicate with mills on quality issues detected in bulk fabric to resolve issues promptly.
• Manage changes in fabric order quantities to ensure bulk production needs are covered and minimize disruptions.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through to ensure quality and accuracy in all aspects of fabric management.
• Ability to meet deadlines while handling tasks as requested to ensure timely delivery of products.
