Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge platform services and integrated hybrid solutions, supporting our US Space Force customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate software applications onto OpenShift or similar frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of applications.
  • Utilize automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, or similar tools to integrate a seamless process that takes applications from development through testing and into operations.
  • Ensure that applications meet customer requirements using rigorous testing and validation procedures.
  • Participate in technical discussions to assist in planning future integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with the team and customer to ensure Integration, Test, and Validation processes align with organizational goals as well as customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance on containerization practices, microservices architecture, and system scalability.
  • Improve overall application integration, testing, and validation processes and continuously find ways to modernize and improve performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 8+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding and implementation experience in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Python skills for scripting/automation on an open framework such as MDPAF.
  • ELK Stack – For Cybersecurity, SE, Test, Infrastructure assessment.
  • Linux and/or Windows development lifecycles.
  • Working experience in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure.
  • 5+ years of experience in OPIR and 3+ years in MDPAF.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Skills:
  • USSF FORGE MDPAF development and/or architecture experience.
  • OPIR mission experience.
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile development environments.
  • DevSecOps automated integration knowledge.
  • Experience working DoD/security development projects.
  • Integration experience in hybrid platforms (Cloud, On-premise, standalone).
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
