Psychiatric Technician I

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician I to join our team at Northern Light Acadia Hospital. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Perform clinical tasks and duties within the scope of your expertise and training.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
- Record, maintain, and distribute documents and information as needed.
- Assist with staff education and training, and participate in meetings.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, and work to meet their psychological, emotional, or physical needs.
- Maintain a safe environment and report any hazards or violations of patient safety policy.
- Collaborate with team members to provide effective and efficient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
