Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian I to join our team as a Pediatric Nutrition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition services to patients and families, developing and implementing personalized nutrition care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Nutrition Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop tailored care plans to address these needs.
  • Education and Counseling: Provide individualized nutrition education and counseling to patients and families, ensuring they understand and can implement healthy nutrition practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement nutrition-related programs and services to promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, nutrition plans, and program outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with pediatric patients.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Two years of experience in pediatric nutrition or a related field.
