Job Title: Learning and Development Manager

Join Ventura County Credit Union as a Learning and Development Manager and play a key role in shaping the organization's training and development initiatives. As a collaborative leader, you will work closely with stakeholders to drive training initiatives that support team growth, engagement, and retention, while enhancing overall organizational effectiveness and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and conduct training needs analyses and provide training solutions to support business operations, strategic goals, projects, and initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain company-wide training standards, learning pathways, and set expectations and measurements that build employee competencies and foster an environment of continuous learning.
  • Track and analyze training metrics and prepare reports to demonstrate the impact of learning and development initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Own processes related to learning management systems, including implementation, contract, and budgeting, reporting, and adherence to required training.
  • Provide direct leadership and mentorship to the Training Department, fostering a culture of continuous learning aligned with VCCU's vision and values.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years' experience in employee training, corporate learning, community outreach/education, or other related experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing, developing, and delivering training, curriculum, courses, learning paths, etc. for various audiences and learning settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication, Organizational Development, or related field; 4 years' experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Familiarity with corporate Learning Management and/or Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with ability to learn new software applications.
