Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Proposal Management

  • Identifies emerging opportunities and collaborates with the management team to strategize and support overall initiatives. Cultivates new markets, clients, and technologies while fostering client relationships.
  • Prepares comprehensive proposals that encompass risk assessments, profit enhancement evaluations, estimating, engineering, technical writing, site evaluations, and client inquiries.
  • Negotiates contracts while ensuring a thorough understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Coordinates with the pre-construction team as necessary.

Risk Management

  • Fully comprehends and adheres to Keller's risk management policies and protocols.
  • Identifies significant risks and implements appropriate measures to mitigate risks to the organization.

Initial Planning

  • Oversees designs, submissions, material procurement, pre-job planning, and scheduling.
  • Organizes pre-project meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develops strategies with the project team to optimize project profitability.

Project Execution

  • Builds and leads effective project teams.
  • Ensures that all work performed meets established specifications.
  • Collaborates with the branch and project team to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Identifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to enhance profitability.

Change Management

  • Recognizes, monitors, and addresses changes; escalates issues when necessary.

Financial Oversight

  • Reviews and oversees weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and other key metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manages accounts receivable collections.

Safety and Quality Assurance

  • Ensures compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety standards.
  • In the event of a safety incident, collaborates with HSEQ to support personnel and project management teams in accordance with Keller policy.
  • Addresses all quality nonconformance issues.
  • Exercises stop work authority for safety and quality concerns.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical, construction, or related fields is preferred.
  • Exceptional computer, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.

Salary Range: $100K - $125K per year, plus benefits and bonuses, based on experience.
