Job Overview

RQC, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our West Coast Field Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all construction work activities, assigned employees, and subcontractors on a project job site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct construction work activities to ensure quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with assigned employees and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college courses or degree in construction management, engineering, etc. preferred.
  • Five or more years of work experience in a Superintendent position, with four or more years of field or trade work experience in the construction industry required.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required; specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required; training can be provided.
  • Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable; LEED GA/AP Credential desirable.
