Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Unit Supply Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our units and personnel are well-supplied and equipped for any mission.

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee the shipping, storage, and supply of Army National Guard equipment. This includes receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies. You will also ensure that all documents are prepared and organized, maintain automated systems, secure and control weapons and ammunition, and schedule and provide maintenance for weapons.

Responsibilities
  • Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas
  • Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons
  • Operate unit level computers
Requirements
  • Possess interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, and/or typing
  • Able to keep accurate records
  • Enjoy physical work
  • Interested in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment

Salary Information

As a Unit Supply Specialist, you can expect to earn between $200 and $250 per drill weekend, subject to change. With experience and promotions, your salary will increase accordingly.
