Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Silver Line in North Brunswick Township, NJ.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $42,400 - $49,400 per year, based on industry standards and the cost of living in the area.

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the supply chain by collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products
  • Operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business
  • Operating Forklift
  • Using wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Scanning and processing materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhering to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
  • Performing cycle counts as required
  • Picking, wrapping, and staging orders to be shipped and loading material on outbound delivery trucks for customer orders
  • Inspecting and performing maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Identifying safety hazards in the workplace
  • Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating Forklift/Overhead Indoor Hoisting and Rigging Crane
  • Material handling work is highly preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth differentiation
  • Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation
  • Ability to perform specific tasks that involve climbing and kneeling
  • Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process
  • Frequent exposure to loud noises
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
