Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Leadership Development Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the professional development of school board members across Washington state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Leadership Development to identify and fulfill the professional development needs of school board members.
  • Develop and implement research-based professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of school board members.
  • Provide guidance and support to school board members on governance best practices and policy development.
  • Work closely with school districts to understand their needs and develop targeted support services.
  • Contribute to the development of model policies and resources to support effective governance.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of education governance and policy development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in professional development and training.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $72,000, depending on qualifications. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and basic life insurance, as well as a retirement plan and paid leave. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
