About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the director of leadership development to identify and fulfill the professional development needs of the 1,477 locally elected school board members who are WSSDA's members.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with the director of leadership development to develop and implement professional development programs for school board members.
- Collaborate with WSSDA staff to provide research-based professional development opportunities, model policy development, and legal resources to support effective governance.
- Assist board members with communicating the needs of their school districts to Washington's legislators.
- Develop and maintain relationships with school districts, state agencies, and other stakeholders to support the work of WSSDA.
