Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate patient information, collaborating on the creation of diagnostic and treatment plans.
  • Engage in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Oversee patient management, encouraging self-care and lifestyle modifications, while effectively managing the patient demographic.
Educational Requirements:
Mandatory:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Professional Experience:
Mandatory:
  • At least 3 years of experience in pediatric or outpatient care settings.
  • Familiarity with nursing practices, organizational operations, regulations, and contemporary trends.
Desirable:
Experience in a specialized field.

Licensure/Certification:
Mandatory:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license in Tennessee.
  • National certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Certification of fitness as necessary.
  • BLS certification.
Desirable:
Tennessee nursing license or multistate licensure within three months of employment.

Departmental Role Summary:
