Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Gather and evaluate patient information, collaborating to create testing and treatment plans.
  • Engage in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Coordinate care efforts, promote self-management, and oversee the patient population.
Educational Requirements:
Mandatory:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Professional Experience:
Mandatory:
  • At least 3 years of experience in pediatric or outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with nursing principles, organizational dynamics, regulations, and contemporary trends.
Desirable:
Experience in a specialized field.

Licensure/Certification:
Mandatory:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license in Tennessee.
  • National certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Certification of fitness as required.
  • BLS certification.
Desirable:
Tennessee nursing license or multistate licensure within three months of employment.

Department Summary:
  • Accountable for diagnosing, treating, and delivering patient care.
  • Must exhibit knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Evaluate patient status and provide care in accordance with established protocols.
