Job Summary

Comp-U-Dopt is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Instructor to join our team. As a Program Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering educational programs to youth and adult learners, focusing on technology education and digital literacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Lead training classes for elementary, middle, or high school youth, as well as parents and other adult learners, providing instruction and guidance to ensure their learning and knowledge retention.
  • Curriculum Development: Deliver programs in line with developed curriculum, actively engaging with students to ensure their understanding and application of the material.
  • Classroom Management: Facilitate a strong classroom culture through authentic relationships with students and consistent behavior and classroom management practices.
  • Program Evaluation: Collect classroom information, including attendance and metric reports, to ensure the continuous improvement and quality of the program.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and maintaining a safe and healthy training environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a classroom environment.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
Special Knowledge and Skills
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer use and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Teaching Experience: Knowledge and experience in teaching/training technology, digital literacy, or STEM-related programming.
  • Commitment to Mission: Knowledge in STEAM fields, particularly technology, and commitment to mission-driven work.
