Climbing School Instructor

Momentum LLC is seeking a skilled Climbing School Instructor to join our team. As a Climbing School Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Momentum's Core Class series, working with groups of 6 people with varying skill levels, and providing private instruction to beginner and intermediate level climbers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Momentum's Core Class series
  • Work with groups of 6 people with varying skill levels
  • Provide private instruction to beginner and intermediate level climbers
  • Develop program ownership among instructors to continually grow positive program culture
  • Attend ongoing training and staff meetings as needed
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years climbing experience, minimum 3 years and show a strong enthusiasm for climbing
  • Experience in the disciplines of bouldering and sport climbing
  • Preferred 5.12 sport climbing, V7 bouldering, traditional experience
  • Experience in customer service, teaching, or group facilitation
  • Basic computer skills; including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
