Geography Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Geography Instructor to join our faculty team at Houston Community College. As a Geography Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of Geography, developing curriculum and course materials, and contributing to the growth and development of our academic programs.

• Teach Geography courses at the college level, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions.
• Develop and implement curriculum and course materials that align with the college's academic standards and goals.
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional pursuits.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of academic programs and services that support student success.
• Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and committees.

• Master's degree in Geography or a related field.
• At least one year of college-level teaching experience or five to ten years of related work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
