Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Policy Analyst to join our team at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors. As a key member of our policy development team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and developing policies that impact the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on regulatory, legislative, and supervisory topics to inform policy development.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop policy positions on a wide range of issues affecting the financial services industry.
  • Project Management: Assist in developing and executing projects, meetings, and conferences with state regulators, federal regulatory agencies, industry representatives, consumer advocates, and academics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including state regulators, federal regulatory agencies, and industry representatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, public policy, or a related field. A master's degree in law, public policy, business, finance, or accounting is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience in a financial services regulatory agency, trade association, or financial institution is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
