Position Overview:

We are in search of skilled and driven Construction Project Managers and Superintendents to enhance our vibrant construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with the project management team to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules. Assist in formulating cost estimates and budget forecasts for various construction tasks.
  • Construction Documentation: Prepare and review essential construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and permits. Maintain precise project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Procurement and Material Management: Support the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for construction projects. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
  • Construction Coordination: Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution. Address and resolve any construction-related challenges and provide technical assistance as required.
  • Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications. Foster communication between subcontractors and the project team.
  • Change Order Management: Assess and process change orders, modifications, and additional work requests. Evaluate their impact on the project's budget, schedule, and scope, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, including updates on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming deliverables. Present reports to the project management team and senior leadership.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze project challenges and devise practical solutions to efficiently overcome obstacles. Proactively identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Quality Assurance and Closeout: Oversee the project completion and handover process, ensuring all quality standards are met. Assist in conducting post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in construction project management or Superintendent roles.
  • Strong grasp of construction principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
