Job Description

At Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Responsibilities
  • Security Operations
    • Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment to detect and deter potential security threats.
    • Conduct regular patrols of assigned posts and client properties to identify and mitigate potential risks.
    • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
  • Access Control
    • Enforce access control procedures, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and other team members as needed to maintain a safe environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary.
  • Security Measures
    • Must be able to demonstrate a strong ability to recognize, analyze, and enforce security measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Agency Principles
    • Must uphold agency principles and adhere to all standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be a citizen of the United States and be able to start work immediately.
  • Must be a High School Graduate or possess a GED.
  • Must have possession of an active State of Tennessee Armed Security Guard Card.
  • Must have own weapon & duty belt with Level II or III holster.
  • Proficient in firearms knowledge and the ability to successfully qualify on additional weapon, if needed.
  • Must have own reliable transportation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working as a licensed security officer.
  • Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug or Narcotics charges, theft or other dishonest acts.
  • No disability that would hinder the ability to perform required duties.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a physical agility test and drug test.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to be considered to operate a company vehicle.
  • Strong observation skills and able to give attention to detail.
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work as a team or independently.
  • Applicant must be in good physical condition and have appropriate endurance, be able to protect themselves and others, be able to effectively use firearms and other equipment, be able to function in all applicable environments and climates and be able to withstand sudden emotional stress and physical exertion.
