Medical Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Claims Specialist to join our team at Mississippi Employer. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for processing commercial insurance claims accurately and timely on 1500 and UB04 forms.
Key Responsibilities- Research and complete billing process for commercial insurance claims
- Maintain accurate filing of all claims and department records
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries regarding billing of accounts
- Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings to stay up-to-date on industry developments
- Must be able to type 35 wpm with computer skills
- Must be able to read and write and have good communication skills
- Billing experience preferred
