About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school or an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of clinical work experience and be licensed to practice in NC. We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and a supportive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations
  • Reviews patient's medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course
  • Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients
  • Performs patient exams/consultations
  • Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests
  • Interprets laboratory and test results
  • Diagnosis and treatment/care plan formulation
  • Confers with physicians, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care
  • Provides health education and counseling
Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school or an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
  • Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner license in NC
  • 2-4 years of clinical work experience
  • Must be willing to work independently and be responsible for your own caseload
