Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Verifying the accuracy of material deliveries.
  • Organizing and sorting materials by product type in designated holding areas.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of older materials and adhering to packaging standards.
  • Maintaining accurate labeling and routing of packages.
  • Assessing the condition of packaging for potential reuse.
  • Preparing materials for shipment while ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Organizing stock on shelves with attention to detail and order.
  • Identifying and labeling problematic items for proper routing.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including auditing kits for precision.
  • Overseeing the distribution flow of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cross-referencing received goods with relevant documentation.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to fellow logistics team members.
  • Collaborating with inspectors, procurement staff, production teams, and material management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is advantageous.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in stock management and data entry.
  • Typically, 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • The ability to read and interpret basic instructions and documents.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical operations.
  • Capability to follow standardized procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with ESD handling protocols and operational equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Completion of the Material Handler Assessment Program.
  • Knowledge of distribution systems and proficiency in computer applications.

Work Environment

This role is situated in shipping, receiving, and production areas, requiring physical stamina and the ability to operate material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and mobility.
