CarMax is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain Strategy to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize CarMax's supply chain operations, including acquisition, movement, and reconditioning of vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop management systems to drive results.
- Provide analytical evaluation and strategic thoughtfulness to key problems, influencing the strategic direction of the company.
- Partner with business leaders to drive execution, leveraging your team to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
- Guide the Supply Chain strategy team to successfully consult on complex analytical problems and work tracks to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.
- 6+ years' experience in an analytical or strategic role, with a strong background in supply chain management.
- Four-year undergraduate degree with strong academic performance (MBA or Masters in an analytical field is a plus).
- Analytic mindset, with experience conducting large-scale data analysis to support conclusions.
- Ability to communicate complex topics to influence executive thinking and improve execution and innovation.
