We are currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist to operate from our Loxley, AL facility. This role is essential within our sales team, acting as a key contact point for our customers. Responsibilities include managing incoming and outgoing communications, processing orders, delivering exceptional customer service, and aiding in sales initiatives.

We offer a competitive base salary along with a monthly incentive structure, with the potential to earn up to $65,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction: Manage incoming calls from clients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Order Processing: Accurately enter customer orders, ensuring all details are correctly recorded and confirming order status with clients.
  • Outbound Communication: Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to follow up on orders, provide updates, and suggest additional products or services.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service by understanding client needs, offering solutions, and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Product Knowledge Maintenance: Stay informed about our products and services to effectively assist customers and support sales efforts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and accuracy with numerical data.
  • Familiarity with industrial metals is advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in inside sales is preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks amidst frequent interruptions.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
