Job Overview

The Accounts Receivable division at Thompson Safety, LLC is expanding. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to assist the AR Team in a vibrant and fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing AR department communications to the relevant account manager.
  • Processing payments via credit card and ACH through various platforms.
  • Uploading invoices into payment systems and monitoring their payment status.
  • Generating monthly consolidated billing statements for national clients.
  • Executing autopay reports and batches.
  • Maintaining AR documentation and electronic records.
  • Providing comprehensive support to the AR Team in an administrative role.
  • Addressing customer inquiries regarding account invoices and statements.
  • Carrying out other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Associate degree in business, finance, or accounting is preferred.
  • Experience with payment portal processing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Sage technology is a plus.
  • Proficient data entry skills are essential.
  • Strong telephone communication skills are required.
  • Self-motivated individual with aspirations for career advancement.
  • Basic knowledge of banking and financial systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while working independently and collaboratively.
  • Competence in using office equipment and software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new technologies as necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk, engaging in phone conversations, participating in virtual meetings, and utilizing a computer.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
