This is a challenging opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join Howmet Corporation, a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in manufacturing excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of responsible areas' performance measurements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of team leaders and workers engaged in production.
  • Establish and coordinate departmental activities to meet objectives to coincide with plant goals and business metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety regulations, work rules, and departmental specific requirements.
  • Record data and examine products at various stages of processing procedures for conformance to internal and external specifications.
  • Conduct employee training, practice incident prevention techniques, and facilitate between managers, EHS resources, and employees.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Maintain time and production records, estimate, and inspect materials.
  • Resolves grievances and employee relations issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring team leaders for their individual development.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High School diploma/G.E.D.
  • A minimum of three-years related manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
  • Preferrably a degree in Business or Management related field.
