Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within the scope of their training and approved agreement. This position requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health histories, review patient records, and develop comprehensive medical assessments to inform treatment decisions.
  • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, and implement therapy or referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and resources.
  • Provide emergency care and stabilization measures in critical situations, such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
  • Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment.
  • Offer guidance and education to patients, families, and significant others regarding healthcare and health promotion.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year of ER/UC experience preferred).
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
  • Able to multitask and work independently.
Compensation

$85.00 per hour.
