We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Home Health Branch Coordinator to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our branch medical records and billing department.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide clerical support for the branch medical records and billing department, including preparing patient assessment packets, processing signed and unsigned orders, and date-stamping received documents.
- Communication and Coordination: Manage telephone and personnel communication systems, coordinate with referral sources, patients, family members, and agency employees, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Supply Management: Manage and order office supplies, medical supplies, and agency-specific forms as needed.
- Accounts Payable: Process all accounts payable, including routing to the appropriate corporate department as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to and participate in our mandatory HIPAA/Privacy Program and Employee Compliance Program, and read and adhere to all Agency Policies and Procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with typing and clerical skills, and competence with computers.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in the healthcare industry, with one year of experience in home health.
- Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
CenterWell Home Health specializes in personalized, comprehensive home care for patients managing a chronic condition or recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization. Our care teams include nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, home health aides, and medical social workers, all working together to help patients rehabilitate, recover, and regain their independence.
