Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Assist in restocking and replenishing bar supplies, including liquor, glassware, garnishes, and essentials.
  • Organize and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and accessibility.
  • Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure beer taps are functioning correctly.
  • Keep the bar and restaurant areas clean; wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors.
  • Support bartenders with beverage preparation and service as needed.
  • Comply with state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
  • Assist with additional restaurant tasks such as cleaning and preparation duties.
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Required Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Valid food handler card and/or alcohol certification may be required.
  • Open availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bar back or in a related role is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly ascend and descend stairs.
  • Frequent standing and walking are required.
