Job Title: Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governmental and corporate accounting, with experience in managing and providing support for general ledger functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain financial data entry into QuickBooks Ledger and customized MCLJASCO accounting software.
  • Perform complex technical and support services involving financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and consolidated financial statements through the month-end close process.
  • Responsible for accuracy of the general ledger by managing/performing monthly account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Assist with planning and implementing smooth and effective accounting integration for acquisition initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or related 3-5 years work experience.
  • Experience with working with Executive and Senior Management.
  • Proven leadership skills to motivate diverse teams.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing activities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of $45-$55K yearly, depending on experience.
  • Standard office hours between 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Minimal travel required.
