Job Summary

Heluna Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist II to join our team. As a staff psychologist, you will apply psychological principles in assessment, treatment, research, training, and clinical consultation. This is a full professional level position that requires a Doctorate in Psychology or a related field and a license to practice as a psychologist in California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select, administer, and interpret psychological testing instruments for diagnosis and evaluation of clients with psychiatric and co-occurring disorders.
  • Generate reports of diagnostic and psychological findings and/or treatment recommendations.
  • Perform direct service activities, including diagnostic evaluation, structured clinical interviewing, and individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Utilize various treatment modalities, such as psychotherapy, behavior modification, and evidence-based practices.
  • Evaluate client response to treatment and modify treatment strategies as needed.
  • Participate in professional staff conferences and provide consultation to other medical providers.
  • Initiate and carry out psychological research studies and provide rationale for departmental or service programs.
Requirements
  • Doctorate from an accredited college or university in psychology or a related field.
  • License to practice as a psychologist in California.
  • Valid California Class C Driver License.
  • Successful clearance through Los Angeles County's Live Scan process.
  • Experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to be flexible with program changes and work duties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a general office setting with a temperature-controlled environment.
