Position Summary:

The selected candidate will join a dedicated technical team tasked with enhancing engineering processes. Responsibilities will encompass ongoing improvements, diagnosing and resolving equipment and manufacturing challenges, analyzing production data, refining manufacturing techniques, and ensuring optimal yield and efficiency in a highly automated setting. The role will also involve collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to address urgent and complex issues, providing essential support for all production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate continuous process enhancements and maintain machinery through effective teamwork and communication.
  • Collaborate with production and process engineers to achieve team objectives and explore future opportunities.
  • Design, control, and implement modifications and enhancements to equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve persistent equipment issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and document significant errors.
  • Monitor machine operations to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all machinery, including troubleshooting guides and operational instructions.
  • Assist production and maintenance teams in resolving technical challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of production and maintenance personnel.
  • Analyze production requirements and evaluate current output against established goals.
  • Possess practical knowledge and a willingness to advance skills in mechanics, electrics, pneumatics, and controls.
  • Implement strategies to enhance equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance Engineering is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on objectives and accountability to established standards.
  • Ability to apply logical thinking and data-driven decision-making to identify root causes.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical curiosity.
  • Commitment to learning complex battery manufacturing processes to become a key resource for technical discussions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office for report writing and oral communication.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
  • Strong computer, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
