Compensation: Salary starting at $68,000 and commensurate with experience.
Position Summary:
The Equipment Technology Engineer will be an integral part of a dedicated technical team tasked with enhancing engineering operations. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement initiatives, diagnosing and resolving equipment and manufacturing challenges, analyzing production metrics, and refining manufacturing processes to optimize yield and efficiency in a highly automated setting. The role will also involve collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to address complex issues and support production needs as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, control, and enhancement of manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify recurring equipment issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and document significant failures.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of machinery to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all equipment, including troubleshooting guides and operational procedures.
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
- Adhere to safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate the activities of production and maintenance personnel.
- Analyze production schedules and reports to determine operational requirements.
- Possess practical knowledge in mechanics, electrics, pneumatics, and controls.
- Implement strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance Engineering is preferred.
- Strong commitment to achieving objectives and maintaining accountability.
- Proficient in logical reasoning and data-driven decision-making.
- Curiosity and knowledge in mechanical systems.
- Willingness to learn about complex battery manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office for report writing and communication.
- Able to collaborate effectively within teams to meet goals.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
