Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, On-Site

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Test Engineering or Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge of testing, quality assurance, or validation methodologies and tools.
  • Capability to design, execute, and document test cases and outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in plastics, injection molding, or comparable sectors is essential.
  • Strong mathematical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in using basic measurement instruments such as force gauges, digital meters, and thermometers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering degree from an accredited institution.
  • Background in the automotive industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese.
  • Experience with Catia or CAD software.
  • Knowledge of robotics.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive training program available for new team members.
  • On-site presence required Monday through Friday.
  • Responsibilities will evolve over time, including:
  • Planning and leading all design specification tests, which involves creating test plans/schedules, conducting tests, collaborating with design engineers to develop solutions for non-conformance, and reporting test results in accordance with the development timeline.
  • Leading the design specification for testing equipment.
  • Collaborating with design engineers and maintaining effective communication within the team.
  • Documenting and reporting test outcomes.
  • Working closely with various departments and design engineers to formulate plans and execute tests.
  • Providing guidance and oversight to team members.
  • Reviewing and approving reports completed by testing technicians.
  • Analyzing test results and documenting measurement processes.
