Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the Event Manager will liaise with various departments within MRA Recruiting Services to guarantee flawless event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside leadership to identify event priorities and establish objectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to create innovative event concepts
  • Plan and manage MRA-branded events for different audiences
  • Oversee all facets of event management, including documentation, invitations, ticketing, and logistics
  • Effectively manage event budgets
  • Utilize digital project management tools for planning and execution
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as finance and marketing
  • Recruit and supervise event volunteers through strategic partnerships
  • Generate reports to evaluate event outcomes and provide recommendations
Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or Communications preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event coordination within a non-profit environment
  • Willingness to travel for events and work flexible hours
  • Experience with database/CRM systems, Salesforce proficiency required
  • Familiarity with Marketing Cloud, Canva, and Google Workspace preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is an advantage
Physical Requirements:
  • Capable of standing for extended periods to oversee events
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more with assistance
